According to the Q Magazine interview with U2 band members Bono, The Edge and Adam Clayton, their next album is 70 percent complete.
Bassist Adam Clayton told Q “I think we’ve probably got 70 percent of the material that we think will go onto it,” he said. “The 30 percent that we’re missing I think we’ll be able to generate relatively easily. But the amount of energy it will take to refine the perspective of those songs is hard to predict.”
That’s a whole lotta thinking going on there Adam!
Earlier last month a friend who has been a reliable source of U2 information, told me to expect the next album before Christmas. With 70% percent of the material for that record completed December could be possible, but it will be tight.
Make it so lads! All that new material will make the next tour even more amazing.
Peace
